Amazonite

This Amazonite is a marvelous rough, opaque, green and yellow silicate mineral.

Amazonite is named after the Amazon River, from which they were once known. The mineral is also known as Amazonstone.

Due to it's bright green colour Amazonite can occasionally be cut and used as amazing gemstones.

Hardness: 6-6.5
