This mineral is an amazing Black Tourmaline and Garnet contained within a quartz crystal.

Black Tourmaline is a black, opaque form of the mineral tourmaline which is generally iron rich. Garnet is a translucent gemstone which can take a number of colours, and is the birthstone for the month of January.

Quartz is a transparent, colourless, crystalline mineral.
