This display emerald drop facet is a large, spectacular drop shaped piece of emerald which has been polished in such a way as to have numerous flat faces. This emerald is translucent, with a truly stunning green colour.

Emerald is a gemstone variety of beryl, with the characteristic green colour being due to the presence of chroomium ions in the mineral.
