This Tri-Coloured Tourmaline is a marvelous rough, transparent to opaque piece of tourmaline which shows three bands of colours. These colours are black, green in the middle, and pale pink.

The amazing colouration of this mineral is due to the presence of iron and lithium ions within it.

Tourmaline is considered to be both a gemstone and semi-precious stone.
