This Afghanite is a lovely transparent, pale blue mineral which fluoresces a stunning light pink/blue colour under UV light.

Afghanite is so named because it was first discovered in Afghanistan, though it has since been discovered elsewhere.

This marvelous mineral would make an excellent addition to an existing collection, or would be equally good as a gift.
