Amphibole quartz is a remarkable form of the transparent mineral quartz. It features a yellow-orange colour within it, resulting from the presence of various elements in the quartz.

A significant proportion of naturally occuring quartz is formed by crystallising out of magma.

This is a stunning mineral which would look excellent on display.
