This Amber comes from a time in the Lower Cretaceous (during the Age of Dinosaurs), where the diversity of life on land was increasing at a near unprecedented rate thanks to the appearence of flowers.

Amber is incredible because it is both a beautiful gemstone, and a fossil cabable of preserving extinct animals in exquisite detail.
