Description

Deep-red gemstone where the name comes from Latin word ‘granatum’, which means pomegranate; its due to its intense red colour that resembles red fruit seeds. Garnets have been used since the Bronze Age and it has a Mohs scale hardness of 6.5 to 7.5.
