Hackmanite Chunk

This Hackmanite Chunk is a marvelous translucent, multi-coloured but largely purple, blue and yellow mineral.

Hackanite is a variety of sodalite distinguished by the fact that it exhibits a property known as tenebrescence. Tenebrescence is the ability of a mineral to change colour when exposed to light.

When observed under ultraviolet light, this Hackmanite will show a fantastic bright yellow and purple colouraton.
