This Ironstone is a marevelous piece of rough, opaque and orange coloured sedimentary rock.

Ironstone is a type of rock which was once widely used as a source of - as its name would suggest - iron. This is because ironstone generally consists of iron oxide minerals, which gives it its remarkable orange colouration.
