These Magnetite Crystals are beautiful rough, opaque and black to grey pieces of the oxide mineral magnetite, a mineral form of an iron oxide.

The name of magnetite stems from the fact that, due to it being made up in large part of iron, it is highly magnetic. In fact, magnetite is the most magnetic of all naturally occuring minerals on Earth.
