Morganite Chunks

This morganite chunk is a marvelous pink, translucent piece of the mineral beryl.

The distinctive pink colour of morganite is a result of the presence of magnesium ions within bery. Other varieties of beryl include the emerald and aquamarine.

This morganite chunk would be an excellent mineral to collect, and would look great amongst similar minerals.

Hardness: 7.5-8
