Saltasaurus Egg Shell
This Saltasaur egg shell is an incredible piece of fossilised egg shell from a Titanosaurian Sauropod Dinosaur
Saltasaurs were an amazing and widespread member of the famous group of long necked, long tailed Dinosaurs known as Sauropods. They were particularly large animals, weighing about the same as a modern day African elephant, and featured bony armoured plating running down their backs.
Saltasaur eggs are incredible fossils as they have allowed us to learn much about the behaviour of these lost giants.
