Spinel Crystal

This spinel crystal is a beautiful rough, translucent to opaque and pink oxide mineral. These crystals show an even more vivid pink colouration under UV light.

The name for spinel is derived from the latin word for arrow. It is so named because spinel crystals are often pointed like an arrow.

These spinel crystals would be amazing additions to a collection.
