Tugtupite is a lovely rough, somewhat translucent and often pink silicate mineral.

Tugtopite is a unique mineral in the sense that it can exhibit tenebrescence, a property which few minerals possess. This means that the mineral can show colour changes when exposed to light, an effet which is reversible.
