Greenlaws Fluorite

This Greenlaws Fluorite is a lovely rough, translucent piece of white and grey to black fluorite.

This fluorite is named after the Greenlaws mine in England, where it was discovered.

Fluorite is a highly colourful mineral form of calcium fluoride. Becuase of this, it is sometimes known as "the most colourful mineral in the world".
